ABOUT LACEY

Lacey has been a marketeer for over 15 years — a path she’s always been drawn to. She thrives on the balance of art and science that marketing offers, as it feeds her insatiable curiosity about people, their behaviours, and the ripple effects those behaviors create. Over the years, she has collaborated with a wide range of brands, helping shape their narratives and share them with the world.

Her involvement with TEDx stems from that same curiosity — a desire to witness and support the telling of powerful stories by others.

Favourite TED Talk: Why all dogs are good dogs by Alexandra Horowitz |
Because I think there are lessons in here that don’t only allow us to better understand dogs, but also each other. When we take the time to understand and accept each other’s behaviour, understanding each other’s context on why we are the way we are, we can support and learn to become better people. Plus, I am a big dog fan, and I am always keen to understand and support my dog better because I am asking her to live in my world, so making this easy for her is important.

Favourite TEDxRTW Talk: Planting the planet – how our gardens can rescue us | Marian Boswall | TEDxRoyalTunbridgeWells

Because I love gardens, especially my own. I have a long family line of garden lovers on my mum’s side. I remember spending time in my great-grandad’s garden, he had mastered growing the most amazing roses, and the smell of roses brings back my memories of him. I believe in the power of nature and that we should all take time to learn from it.
